Expectations

The secret remote lakes we take you too provide very good opportunity at hooking up and getting a chance to battle multiple Lakers including ones of trophy sizes. This trip is about a quality experience.

Can We Keep Fish

Most Lakes allow for retention of 1 lake trout per person per trip and also retention opportunities for other species like Rainbow Trout and Burbot. We encourage guests to release the larger lake trout to ensure the lakes sustainability.

Boats

Our 14 Marlon Aluminium SSV w/20hp Mercury Outboard is designed to accommodate the access needs of our most remote lakes as trailered boats cannot be used. Other lakes we use our 20ft boat w/ 115hp mercury outboard.

Accomodations

We work with a host accommodation provider in the area with cabins rentals suitable for up to 4 people w/cooking facilities. Other lakes offer fantastic lake side camping options suitable for small RV's, campers, or tenting.

Only have time for a day trip? no problem we got you. There are some great lakes within a 1-1.5 hr drive from Prince George that offer good opportunities at Lake Trout. The majority of these lakes are catch and release only, while there are a few that offer opportunity of retention. Get in contact us and we can go over options that fit your preferences. Some of these lakes offer opportunity at Lake Trout exceeding 20lbs in size! while the average Lake trout is between 5-10 lbs.

Our day trips provide good opportunity at hooking into a nice lake trout. Lake Trout is more about quality over quantity and we do are very best to put our guests into an opportunity to battle one or more of these giant predators.

Can We Keep Fish?

The majority of the lakes within 2 hour drive of Prince George are catch and release only. There are a few lakes within a 2hr drive that do allow for retention but would make for a slightly longer day. We can discuss the option right for you.

Boats

Our new 20ft Crestliner w/ 115hp mercury is perfect for larger groups of upto 5 adults and is wheelchair accessible. Our 14 ft SSV Marlon is for remote lakes and is perfect for 2-3 guests. We can select a craft best suited to your needs.

What To Bring?

Please prepare for all weather situations, this includes raingear, warm clothes, gloves, hat, and sunscreen. Please Pack any food beverage items along with a copy of you BC Freshwater Fishing Lic. We provide all fishing equipment.
